Get a kick out of climbing the highest peak of North Africa! SPECIAL: join one of our small international groups for an 8 day trip to Morocco / Marrakech with a 6 day Toubkal trekking departure: every week € 465,= p/p all in * (excl. flight) starting every Sunday with one night in Marrakech, on Monday you go to the mountains and you get back in Marrakech on Saturday afternoon. Sunday is for your return flight or to visit magic Marrakech. Extra departure: wednesday May 23 ! (up to May 30). The walk to the summit is challenging but you do not need special mountaineering experience. Every one with a normal condition can make this. And the panoramic views on top make the hard work ... Starting in Marrakech the summit and return can be done in 3 days, speedy up. If you have more time take it! With a 8 day tour you start with a trekking through Berber valleys. Good to acclimatize & enjoy the colorful High Atlas mountains with the friendly Berber people and their old traditions. With a 15 day tour you make a big tour around Lac d'Ifni and the remote area of Assif-n-Tinzer; only in summer as you go camping as well.

In summer the summit is just a walk; going up, and up, and up. Technical not difficult. You just bring your walking booth, a good condition and a good spirit. In winter be prepared for snow. For going up the day for the summit you can make use of crampons. To cross some icy snow tracks very early in the morning. Crampons can be hired in Imlil for about € 5,- / day.

 * Included in the price: 2 nights (B&B) in a nice Riad* hotel in the medina (old city centre) of Marrakech, transfer from & back to the airport, transfer to & from the mountains, a local guide walking with you, luggage transport on mules, all meals in the mountains, overnight stay in Berber guesthouses and 2x in a mountain hut. Extra: more nights Marrakech double room € 50,- per night, single room € 40,-.
